The Corians were a simple family with a simple home and a daughter named Emily. she was about 1 year old. Mrs. Corian’s sister was abnormal, but she didn’t hate her. One day, they got a knock on the door. They opened it. There was nothing there except for a small basket. Inside the basket was a child. There was also a letter.
Dear Mrs. Corian, knock knock? Who’s there? Not your sister! She’s dead!
OH MY GOD JAMES!!
Seven years later…
“Get up! Up!” Mrs. Corian yelled.
Aurora grabbed a backpack and put her belongings in it.
“Get up! Get ready!” she yelled.
“Coming,” Aurora groaned tiredly.
“UP!”
Aurora lugged her backpack down the stairs. Her cousin, Emily, was blocking the door to the kitchen. Emily had red, silky hair, blue-green glasses, and red shoes. “Get out of my way!” Aurora said.
“No!” Emily yelled rudely.
The Corian’s home was a two-story, five-bedroom house. One bedroom was Mr. and Mrs. Corian’s room, one of them was Emily’s room, one of them was a guest’s room, one of them was Aurora’s, and the last one was a storage room.
“I’m gonna tell aunt Emi!” Aurora yelled back.
“You won’t!”
“I will!”
“Stop fighting, girls!” Aunt Emi yelled.
“Emiah, get the girls to stop,” Mr. Corian said.
“let me handle this, James.”
“You forgot the password,” Emily sneered.
“Emily rules,” Aurora said unenthusiastically, “Emily sucks,” she mumbled afterwards.
“What was that?” Aunt Emi asked.
Aurora didn’t answer. She went back upstairs to her room. She grabbed her diary and jewelry. She grabbed her backpack and stuffed everything inside. She opened the window.
“Where are you going?” Emily called as if trying to get Aurora in trouble.
chapter 2: the runaways
Aurora jumped out the window. She ran as fast as she could. Emily jumped out after her. “Emi! They jumped out the window!” James called. Emily ran out after her. “Get back here Emily!”
“But mom! She’s running away!”
“So?”
“So, she’s gone! Who am I supposed to bully now?”
Aurora ran into the woods by the Corian’s house.
Her favorite animal in the woods was the fox she named Ginger. The fox was also her spirit animal. She heard rustling in the bush she passed. She ran even faster.
“She’s after me, isn’t she. My mom?” a girl said.
“Shh!”
This creeped aurora out, and she sprinted to her hideout. She ran into a carved out tree. A kid inspected her tree. Aurora ducked down inside. “I think someone is in here!” another girl said. Aurora gasped.
The girl screamed. “Hi, umm… I’m Aurora.”
“H-hi, Aurora. I-I’m Shae,” The girl said.
“I’m Maya. Maya Ulchie,” another girl said.
“Mickey,” A boy said.
Nice to meet you…
There was a long, awkward pause.
“Okay… let’s go!” Aurora said. And so they were off. On their journey, they saw many classifications of wildlife. Squirrels, butterflies, bunnies, you name it!
Chapter 3: The Ring
After some traveling, they found a strange temple-like cave.
Aurora entered the temple. Then Mickey, then Maya, and finally, Shae. One by one, they went towards the middle.
